The Foundation runs the Biblioteca Bozzano-De Boni (Bozzano-De Boni Library), whose bibliographic patrimony, initially collected by Ernesto Bozzano (1862-1943) and Gastone De Boni (1908-1986), two scholars in paranormal phenomenology, is mostly about Psychical Research and Parapsychology topics. With time the patrimony was enriched, thus becoming an important source for scholars in these fields of research, and one of the widest specialistic collections of its kind in Europe and the world. The Public can enter the Library to consult the documentary patrimony and for bibliographic research. Moreover, it organizes various Activities for a correct and complete divulgation of Psychical Research topics. In parallelo the Foundation runs the Archivio di Documentazione Storica della Ricerca Psichica, a cultural association that publishes, as its official organ, the quarterly magazine Luce e Ombra. Within the Archivio di Documentazione Storica della Ricerca Psichica the Bologna work group of the Centro Italiano di Parapsicologia (CIP) (Italian Center of Parapsychology) of Naples publishes and distributes the bimensual magazine CDA (Comunicazioni dell' Entità A). Whilst Luce e Ombra is concerned with problematics linked to Psychical Research, CDA publishes Mediumistic Communications at a high intellectual level on philosophical, moral, ethical problems.
The Foundation is been legally recognized by the Giunta Regionale dell' Emilia Romagna n. 000510, 28/10/1996 and by the Ministero per i Beni Culturali e Ambientali, 30/05/1997.

What we do
The founders
-
Ernesto Bozzano (1862-1943), founder of the Library and author of various articles and monographic works and internationally known: his biography, his bibliography and list of some his articles recently published.

Gastone De Boni (1908-1986), heir of E. Bozzano, enlarged the Library and contributed to the revival of Luce e Ombra after its publications had been interrupted from 1940 to 1946: his biography and his bibliography.
The magazines

Luce e Ombra is a periodical on Psychical Research and Parapsychology themes: history, subscription formalities, indexes of the issues available from 1947, indexes of the last issues and summaries of their articles.
For celebrating the hundred years from the first issue of Luce e Ombra four volumes are in course of publication. They collect some articles published in these hundred years. Besides a Congress is been held on June 3rd, 2000. The Acta (summaries) are been published on Luce e Ombra, 2, 2000.

A) is a periodical that publishes Mediumistic Communications at a
high intellectual level, received at the
